<p>Medicinal ointment consists essentially of horse-fat contng. thymol and opt. also contains cade oil and bee honey or cade oil, bee honey, turpentine oil, lavender oil and oil of thyme. The ointment has a curative effect on eczemas, scabies, rheumatism (esp. articular rheumatism) and varicose ulcers. It has strong antiseptic properties, suppressing the growth of or killing bacteria etc. Because of its poor solubility, thymol does not have adverse effects on the organism, and the ointment is non-irritant.</p> |
