The device has a motorised regulating element which works together with operating elements according to its rotary position, through which elements functional states of the lock can be adjusted. The regulating element (49) can be moved in two directions. Through movement in one direction, the functional states can be adjusted while with movement in the other direction at least one load state (to open) can be processed. All the functional states can be adjusted "in the pull" of a full 360 deg. turn and to each functional state is assigned one fixed preset rotary position of the regulating element.
