The device has a protective plate (22) moved against another protective plate, where the protective plates are provided with an opening (21). The opening of one of the protective plates is covered by the opening of the other protective plate in a closing condition. An actuation device (18) moves the protective plates by an insertion mechanism, and is activated by a modular switch i.e. low-voltage circuit-breaker. The protective plates are made of clear-transparent insulating material, and one of the protective plates has a partial or full surface coloration.
