The stick has a pole (10) with covering units (14, 16) and a core element (12) made of closed-cells rigid foam e.g. Styrofoam(RTM: light resilient foam of polystyrene) depron and Styrodur(RTM: isolation material). The units are made of wood, bamboo, polystyrene, stainless steel, glass fiber, carbon fiber or aluminum and fixed to the element. A handle-component (30) has a wrist-holding device (40) that is connected with the pole. The device retains a contact between the stick and a user wrist between movement phases during walking. A foot-component is arranged at the pole.
