#CMT# #/CMT# The device (1) has electromagnetic lift magnets (3), which load a locking element (4) in such a manner that a shaft (2) is detachably fixed to a vehicle-fixed component (5) in a form-fit manner. An energy storage (6) is partially made of a permanent magnet (7) i.e. slide bearing, which acts on the locking element. The permanent magnet and the electromagnetic lift magnets act on a piston (8), which stays in an effective connection with the locking element. The piston and the locking element are connected in a force-fit or material-fit manner. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Locking device for a shaft of a steering system i.e. servo steering e.g. active steering, electrical power steering and hydraulic steering, of a vehicle i.e. passenger car. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The energy storage is partially made of the permanent magnet i.e. slide bearing, which acts on the locking element, thus operating the locking device in a cost-efficient manner, with reduced energy expenditure.
