<p>The device for automatic length correction of a flexible transient element of manual brake of motor vehicles includes a rod (1) connected to a handle or similar control device, which features at least one attached flexible transient element (B1, B2) with the option of relative mutual shifting. Regarding this, the specified rod (1) in the area of its extreme end (12) is equipped with an external thread (11), while in the area of the specified thread (11) there is on the rod (1) a loosely fitting moving bracket (2) which can be shifted relatively to the rod (1) in the axial direction to which the corresponding flexible transient element (B1, B2) is fastened. At the same time on the specified rod (1) thread (11) there is a nut (3) which is wound leaving an as far as possible unhindered possibility of rotating, which is by way of a spring (4) pressed against the bracket (2) on its side looking towards the extreme end (12) of the rod (1). Thanks to such a concept the corresponding required tension of the flexible transient element (B1, B2) is provided in a simple way despite its inevitable elongations and wear of the brake pads after a certain period of use of such brake.</p> |
