Invention herewith described refers to an octa-cylindrical internal combustion engine with alternate cylinders and cross-like mechanism, is an engine which consists of alternate cylinders (I, II, III, IV) with cylinders (V, VI, VII, VIII). Cylinders (I, II) are positioned in parallel next to cylinders (III, IV) and are achieved in the top block (7) of the engine while the alternate cylinders (V, VI) and (VII, VIII) are positioned in the bottom block (8) of the engine. Pistons (3) are positioned in the cylinders which in the pins (4) are swervingly coupled over the links (1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6) of angular frames (1.2) and a cross head (5) with an engine shaft (6). In the sides (1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2) are achieved openings with curved peripheral surfaces (1.7, 1.8, 2.7, 2.8) where the surfaces (1.7, 2.7) are engaged at the same time by bearings (5.1, 5.2) and the surfaces (1.8, 2.8) by bearings (5.3, 5.4) turned by 900 in relation to the bearings (5.1, 5.2). When the pistons (3) move due to the expansion they move the curved surfaces (1.7, 1.8, 2.7, 2.8) that push the bearings (5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4) and swerve the cross head (5) and therewith also a shaft (6) which turns then. Cylinders (I, III, V, VII), and diagonally achieved cylinders (II, IV, VI, VIII), have the same working cycles. It means that when the compression cycle is in the cylinders (I, III, V, VII), at the same time in the cylinders (II, IV, VI, VIII) is carried out the expansion cycle.
