PURPOSE: A portable prefabricated bookshelf and filing cabinet is provided to allow a large amount of books and files to be stored by connecting a plurality of bookshelves and filing cabinets. CONSTITUTION: A portable prefabricated bookshelf and filing cabinet comprises a bookshelf and filing cabinet which comprises a fitting groove formed at the both sides of right and left sides, and an attachable and separable index board formed on the front and back sides; and a connection supporting stand. The index board can be used by being put in the front or back side. The index board is put in the back side in case of a bookshelf, and the index board is put in the front side in case of a filing cabinet.
