The method involves distributing equal sections of pressed material mat (2) to a press by a distributing device (8), and adjusting increase of mass per unit area longitudinal to production direction for manufacturing a differential flat weight profile by reception of a grit (35) in a track. An increase of another mass per unit area is controlled transverse to production direction for manufacturing a differential flat weight profile parallel to the production direction by reducing reception of the grit in the track from the distributed pressed material mat by an adjusting device. An independent claim is also included for a system for manufacturing a material plate.
