The lock has a lock piece (4) fixedly connected with a stock rail (7) of a railway switch (8), and a tongue attachment (6) fastened at the stock rail. A slide rod (1) is provided for activation of the railway switch and is guided through the lock piece. A locking catch or-clip is connected with the tongue attachment by a connecting joint. The tongue attachment has a stop bolt (12) engaging below the slide rod. The stop bolt is inserted between side flanges extending the tongue attachment in a direction on the slide rod.
