The arrangement (1) has a drive device formed for actuating a traction hoop (3) and comprising a drive shaft (7) e.g. hollow shaft, supported at the hoop. The drive shaft is coupled with drive wheels e.g. friction wheels (8), at both end sections of the drive shaft in a rotationally fixed manner. The drive wheels cooperate with transmission units e.g. gear rod arrangement and pitch cable, of a roof-fixed part e.g. guide rail and frame part, of a vehicle for moving the hoop against the roof-fixed part. An independent claim is also included for a roof arrangement comprising a frame part.
