The vehicle has a gas-powered drive device (2) i.e. internal combustion engine, with a tank device (4) for containing gaseous fuel for the drive device. A connecting pipe (12) connects the tank device with the drive device to feed the drive device with the fuel. An intermediate storage device (8) for the fuel and a supercharger device (16) for increasing the pressure of the fuel are provided. The intermediate storage device indirectly stays in fluid-connection with the supercharger device. The supercharger device is driven by the drive device. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a motor vehicle.
