PURPOSE: A terminal unit for a vehicle battery is provided to keep the joint between a contact terminal and a battery terminal against the movement of the vehicle by the tongue-and-groove system. CONSTITUTION: A terminal unit for a vehicle battery comprises lower and upper contact terminals(110,120) and a locking unit(130). The lower and upper contact terminals have first and second expandable insertion ports(111,121) which are inserted to a battery terminal. The upper contact terminal is put on the top of the lower contact terminal. The locking unit is attached to each one end of the lower and upper contact terminals by a fastener(140) in order to reduce the diameter of the first and the second insertion port.
