PASSIVE OPTICAL NETWORK SYSTEM AND OPTICAL SIGNAL RECEIVING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A PON(Passive Optical Network) system and a method for receiving an optical signal thereof are provided to receives more subscribers within one OLT(Optical Line Termination) in a TDM(Time Division Multiplexing)-PON. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of optical signal dividers(130,140,150) provides optical signals of a plurality of ONTs(Optical Network Terminals) as a plurality of upward optical signals having different wavelengths. A composite optical filtering device(120) multiplexes the upward optical signals by a wavelength division type. An OLT(110) receives the multiplexed upward optical signals by a time division type. The OLT includes a wavelength splitter and a plurality of optical receivers. The wavelength splitter splits the multiplexed upward optical signals according to the different wavelengths.
