The device (1) has a program part to calculate a correction value by a reference image to compensate irregular light distribution of a light surface, where the part is a receiver of the surface of a light table (10). Another program part calculates another correction value by another reference image to compensate an effect decreasing accuracy of determination of a splitter parameter. The latter part is a receiver of x-ray calibrated splitter part (50). The receivers are tested by a main program using values, where a splitter hole in the receivers corresponds to an aggregate bright pixel point. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining a splitter parameter of a splinter plate.
