GPS SIGNAL REPEATER AND METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A GPS signal repeater and a method using the same are provided to relay a GPS signal by using a telephone line arranged in an inside of a building. CONSTITUTION: A GPS receiving antenna unit(11) receives a GPS signal from a GPS satellite. The GPS receiving antenna unit converts the GPS signal and outputs a first signal. A GPS transmitting antenna unit(12) receives the first signal through a telephone line from the GPS receiving antenna unit. The GPS transmitting antenna unit reconverts the received first signal to the GPS signal. The GPS transmitting antenna unit transmits the reconverted GPS signal to a portable terminal.
