The element (2) has a flexible tongue (10) forming a connection contact (30) to a conductor rail (3) i.e. bus bar, where the element is suspended on the conductor rail transverse to a rail longitudinal axis in the form of a clamp. A fixing unit secures the element against rotation around the rail longitudinal axis. The fixing unit encloses the conductor rail in a torque-proof manner over a part of the circumference. The fixing unit has rigid side pieces (12, 13) that engage the conductor rail in a clamping manner. The element together with the fixing unit is made of metal part.
