<p>Preparation of a substituted tin(IV)-oxide particle in a gas phase process comprises (a) providing one or more suitable precursor compound or preparations and/or (b) upstream process for the preparation of one or more suitable precursor compound or preparations; (c) introducing one or more compounds suitable for the substitution or preparations; and (d) converting one or more suitable precursor compounds with oxygen or a suitable compound or preparation, which release oxygen under reaction conditions. Independent claims are included for: (1) the particle(s) comprising the substituted tin(IV)-oxide, and further one or more substitution element; and (2) a method for the preparation of core/shell-particle, where the core is from a semimetal- or metal-oxide and the shell is form a substituted tin(IV)-oxide in a gas phase process, comprising carrying out the steps (a)-(c), (d1) providing one or more suitable precursor compounds or preparations to obtain the core, carrying out the step (d), and (e) casing the obtained core with a shell with oxygen or the suitable compound or preparation.</p> |
