The invention relates to the mechanical engineering, namely to the steam engines. The steam engine comprises two cylinders, inside which displaces a piston, each being joined by means of a connecting rod with a crankshaft. The crankshafts are joined between them by a reduction gear providing a reduction ratio of 1:2. The cylinder, which piston displaces twice faster, comprises admission and vent holes and an injector. The cylinder, which piston displaces twice slower, comprises a valve which opens at the discharge of the mix consisting of discharge gases and steam.
