The device has an advertisement device (1) provided for spreading a paper (3) and/or small article (2), where transfer of the paper and/or small article is taken place via an arm (6) and/or a gripper (7). The advertisement device is supplied with energy from a storage battery (8), and a computing unit (14) controls components integrated in the advertisement device. A paper output unit (15) separates the paper and conveys the paper to outside of the advertisement device. A set of sensors orients in a surrounding field of the advertisement device. An independent claim is also included for a method for distribution of a paper and/or a small article in a shopping centre.
