DISPLAY DEVICE AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A display device and a driving method thereof are provided to increase a contrast ratio of an organic light emitting display device by minimizing the current flowing in the organic light emitting device when displaying the black image. CONSTITUTION: A capacitor(Cst) is connected between a first contact point and a second contact point. A switching transistor(Qs) is controlled by a first scan signal and transmits the data voltage to the first contact point. A light emitting control transistor(Qbk) is controlled by the second scan signal and transfers the reference voltage to the second contact point. A driving transistor includes a control terminal connected to the first contact point, the output terminal connected to the second contact point, and the input terminal. An organic light emitting device is controlled by the third scan signal and is connected to the driving control transistor and the second contact point. The driving control transistor transmits the driving voltage to the input terminal of the driving transistor.
