Invention herewith described refers to a divided suction channel of internal combustion engine, which in a cylinder head (1) comprise at each cylinder (11) a suction valve (2) and an exhaust valve (3), comprises a vertical partition wall (4), which divides a suction channel (12) along its length in two parts. In the suction channel (12) in the open position there is impressed a butterfly (7) and in the closed position, the butterfly (7) divides the suction channel (12) to a central part (6) of the suction channel (12) and a peripheral part (5) of the suction channel (12).
