USEFUL METHOD FOR SYNCHRONIZATION OF INITIAL VECTOR IV IN BLOCK CIPHER RUN MODE

<p>A useful method for synchronization of the initial vector IV in the block cipher run mode, dividing the initial vector IV into two parts comprising IV1 and IV2, the method includes: determining the initial value of the IV1 and the IV2; synchronizing the state between the transmission side and the receiving side; transmitting the IV1; executing local computation and storage of the IV2, and executing the encryption and decryption when both of the transmission side and the receiving side obtain the synchronized IV.</p>
