REGENERATION ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM OF ELECTRIC RAILWAY VEHICLES

PURPOSE: A regeneration energy storage system of an electric railway vehicle is provided to store regeneration energy generated during regeneration braking of the electric railway vehicle, thereby preventing reduction of a change element of a wire voltage. CONSTITUTION: Power is provided through a pantograph(30). A power converting apparatus(50) controls speed of a train by controlling a voltage and a frequency supplied to a motor(40). An energy storage device(60) charges or discharges regeneration electric generated by regeneration braking. A control device controls charging/discharging of the regeneration energy and conversion between electric energy and kinetic energy by operation control.
