The present invention relates to a skateboard comprising a board (1) of longitudinal shape and a roller system fixed to the underside of the board (1). This board (1) has what is called a "sandwich" structure made up of a core (2) and two skins (3, 4) placed above and below the core (2) respectively and has a reinforcing structure placed on the perimeter of the core (1). The core (2) comprises a foam-based sheet (10) and the two skins (3, 4) each comprise a crossed-fibre sheet, said crossed-fibre sheets being impregnated with a thermosetting resin. The reinforcing structure consists of a bead (5) comprising a flexible sheath (8) made of woven fibres and of longitudinal fibres (9) placed on the inside of this sheath (8), said bead (5) being impregnated with the thermosetting resin of the upper (3) and lower (4) skins. |
