<p>The invention relates to a spindle comprising a device for pulling a thread and winding same on a spool (11) placed in a can or cradle (4), the rotation of which has stopped, said thread (F) rotating along a path surrounding said can or cradle (4). According to the invention, at least one of the movements required to pull and/or wind the thread (F) is transmitted from outside the space defined by the path of the thread into said space by means of at least one contactless magnetic coupler (14), the path of the rotating thread (F) passing through the air gap (15) of said magnetic coupler or couplers (14).
