AUREOBASIDIUM PULLULANS NP-1221 KCTC 11265BP AND A PRODUCING METHOD FOR EXO-TYPE beta-GLUCAN USING THE SAME

摘要

PURPOSE: A novel strain Aureobasidium pullulans NP-1221 which produces pure beta-glucan is provided to ensure high water solubility and massively produce tablet. CONSTITUTION: An Aureobasidium pullulans NP-1221(KCTC 11265BP) which is an extracellular secretion beta-glucan has inactivated PulS gene which is related to pullulan biosynthesis. The inactivation of PulS gene is performed through gene disruption method or by crushing one or more exon among two exons of PulS gene. A pharmaceutical composition for enhancing immunity contains Aureobasidium pullulans NP-1221(KCTC 11265BP) culture medium, supernatant or its dried material.
