PURPOSE: A method and a system server for determining position of a mobile communication terminal are provided to increase the reliability of the position of a mobile terminal by reducing a determination error in measuring the position of none GPS terminal. CONSTITUTION: In a method and a system server for determining position of a mobile communication terminal, a mobile communications terminal(110) performs conventional voice communications and data communications by being interlinked with a mobile radio communications network(120). The mobile terminal transmits a response to a mobile base station according to a wireless environment measure require-message. The mobile radio communications network performs a voice communications service, a wireless data service, a wireless internet service, and a video call or a message service. A gateway mobile location center(130) relays various kinds of message by being interlinked with a home location register(129), a mobile switching center(128), and an indoor location based service providing server(140). The indoor location based service providing server generates a positioning response message according to the positioning require-message. |
