<p>A caravan trailer comprising a trailer assembly 14 and a pod 12, the trailer assembly comprising a chassis having wheels 22 and a tow bar assembly 24; characterised in that the pod is releasable mounted on the chassis wherein the assembled caravan trailer has a maximum vertical height of less than 1.8m and an unloaded weight of 750kg or less. The pod may be demountable from the chassis without the use of any tool. The pod may be releasably mounted on the chassis by means of clip assemblies (38, figure 1). The pod may be provided with a plurality of legs 30 on which the pod may stand when demounted from the chassis of the trailer; the legs may be provided with telescopic means having a first extended position and a second retracted position. At least two legs may be laterally adjusted 50. The caravan trailer may be provided with a lighting board 34 wherein the lighting board may be operated between a raised position and a lowered position.</p> |
