PURPOSE: A simulation-based calculation grid resource management device using ontology and a method thereof are provided to analyze high-capacity operation including requirements, and to demand a work based on the analyzed results, thereby sufficiently reflecting requirements of a resource user. CONSTITUTION: A work managing unit(100) receives a high-capacity operation work request from a user, and analyzes requirements to deliver the analyzed results to a resource mediator(200). The resources mediator selects an optimum resource through simulation and inference based on ontology. A resources provider(400) is allocated with a work from the resource mediator to provide the resource, and performs the allocated work. A resources information provider(300) stores resource information in a DB.
