Method for manufacturing high performance foam bodies, high performance foam bodies and their application

The method involves crushing homogenous primary foam bodies with different physical characteristics e.g. compressibility, to foam flakes under formation of sorted fractions. The flakes of the sorted fractions are mixed with adhesive. The adhesive is hardened under formation of a secondary foam body. The secondary foam body is divided under formation of foam articles. The adhesive is mixed and hardened so that a resonant frequency of a system including a preload and the secondary foam body under reference conditions is smaller than a resonant frequency of a system with the primary foam bodies. An independent claim is also included for a high performance foam body including homogenous primary foam bodies.
