CATALYST DECAL IMPROVEMENT METHOD OF FUEL CELL MEA USING HYDROGEN ION CONDUCTIVITY MEMBRANE AND MANUFACTURED FUEL CELL MEA FOR SAME

PURPOSE: A catalyst decal improvement method of a fuel cell mea using hydrogen ion conductive membrane is provided to completely transfer a catalyst layer to a membrane in a conventional decal operation process and to suppress the increase of manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst decal improvement method of a fuel cell mea using hydrogen ion conductive membrane comprises the steps of: (i) mixing a catalyst, a hydrogen ion conductive polymer, and a solvent system that can disperse or melt the catalyst particles and the hydrogen ion conductive polymer to obtain catalyst slurry; (ii) coating the catalyst slurry on a polymer substrate by a knife method; (iii) contacting a membrane with a catalyst layer of a substrate on which the catalyst is applied and a roll type membrane and applying heat and pressure through a press; and (iv) drawing the pressed sample and applying heat and pressure through a press in a different direction.
