PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a menu controlling method thereof are provided to decide on a skill level of a user who operates a menu through a voice recognition function. CONSTITUTION: A user input unit(130) receives a command for execution of a specific menu from a user. A controller(180) detects a handling skill level for the user's mobile terminal. According to the skill level, the controller displays or executes a menu corresponding to the command in preset mode. Under control of the controller, a display unit(151) displays an operation screen of the executed menu. The controller analyzes information on a menu operation mode, and decides on the skill level by referring to the analyzed information. |
