A GRAPHICAL PASSWORD INPUT SYSTEM USING WHEEL INTERFACE AND THE METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A graphic password input device using a wheel interface and a method thereof are provided to input a password in graphic wheel type, thereby more conveniently inputting the password. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(31) receives input through a group selecting unit, a direction input unit, and a picture selection unit. A screen unit(32) arranges pictures in wheel shape. When a picture group is selected, the screen unit activates one of picture groups according to input of the direction input unit. A storage unit(33) stores a user's graphic password. A controller(34) decides coincidence between a graphic password and the stored graphic password of the user. The controller performs user authentication by the decision.
