PURPOSE: An entry speed control method of a finishing mill is provided to reduce rolling pitch and increase the hit-ratio of finishing mill delivery temperature by effectively transferring a strip entered into the finishing mill. CONSTITUTION: An entry speed control method of a finishing mill comprises following steps. When a strip is transferred to the tip-end of the finishing mill, the entry speed of stands positioned at the front end of the finishing mill increases(S3). When the strip passes through the front end of the finishing mill and is transferred to the rear end, the entry speed of the stands positioned at the front end of the finishing mill(S4).
