The plate and the lining sheet may be cast in a single piece so as to leave a hollow space between the sheet and the plate. The space may be filled with a flexible material such as foam plastics in which case the lining sheet is welded on the periphery of the plate. The plate may be made from polypropylene. The lining sheet may be made from plastics provided with an ornamental pattern or it may have the appearance of artificial leather.
