Revolving horizontal shaft kiln - with wall fitted thermocouples couples for o-feed control

<p>The temp. control is effected by means of thermocouples set into the shell and projecting through it, which are connected with a controller for the adjustment of the technically pure O feed into the furnace. The couples are pref. spring loaded and project into the kiln only whilst the charge rests on the part of the shell concerned. The method improves process control and fuel efficiency in the reducing of sulphide and oxide ores etc.</p>
