Reinforced metal wire making - by passing high strength metal cord through molten matrix metal
摘要

Fibre or wire reinforced wire is made by passage of a loosely packed wire or fibre cord through a melt of a matrix metal with which it becomes soaked followed by pulling of the cpd. wire through a drawing die to reduce its cross section and the packing density of the cpd. wire. The bath is pref. kept under the vacuum as is the wire until the matrix metal has solidified. The method is used for prodn. of W reinforced Cu wire and stainless steel wire reinforced Al wire.
