PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a wire tape is provided to offer good manufacturing efficiency of the tape by reducing the manufacturing failure rate drastically, and to offer good durability and impact resistance. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a wire tape includes the following steps of: forming an adhesive layer by coating a polyester film with an adhesive(S100); attaching a polyester resin film on the adhesive layer(S102); broadening the width of an aluminum wire with slitting(S120); and heating and compressing the polyethylene resin film attached on the polyester film while supplying a polyester base film on the bottom and the top of the aluminum wire(S130).
