PURPOSE: A current transformer checker is provided to correct a wire of a CT with wrong wiring by detecting a polarity of CT through a single pulse signal. CONSTITUTION: In a current transformer, a battery(15) is used in order to accumulate a voltage to a condenser(16). A test button(17) is connected to an output terminal of the condenser, and a lead wire(19) applies a condenser discharge current of a short-pulse to an iron core of a target CT(30). A voltmeter(18) indicates a plus(+) direction or a minus(-) direction according to the voltage induced at the secondary coil(31) of the target CT. A current of the battery is provided through a diode(13) and a current limiting resistor(14) to charge to the condenser. A circuit operation voltage is applied to the condenser through a diode(11) rectifying the transformer and a low voltage of the transformer. |
