<p>The invention relates to a carriage for conveying, controlling or processing work pieces under overload conditions. According to the invention, the carriage consists of a rest plate (1) mounted on a conveyance system (2) moving along a runway (3). The runway (3) rests on a rigid support (5) by means of an elastic system (4). Under the action of overloads, the rest plate (1) located at a distance (d) above the rigid support (5), together with the work piece, the conveyance system (2) and the runway (3), is lowered to rest directly on the rigid support (5), the whole overload acting upon the rest plate (1) being thereby taken over by the rigid support (5).</p> |
