A battery polarity detecting system, includes: a plurality of detecting terminals (2), a controlling unit (5) and a charge and discharge circuit (8), wherein the detecting terminals (2) can connect to each conductive end of a preset battery (1); the controlling unit (5) can compare the voltage values detected by the detecting terminals (2) with a preset voltage value within the controlling unit (5); when the voltage value detected by the detecting terminals (2) is more than the preset voltage value, the detecting terminals (2) conduct to the anode of the charge and discharge circuit (8), while for the detecting terminals (2) for which the voltage values detected are 0, the detecting terminals (2) conduct to the cathode of the charge and discharge circuit (8) in order to complete a full loop. The battery polarity detecting system can identify battery polarity exactly, thereby avoiding that an integrated circuit (IC) controlling battery is burnt out because of a polarity judgment error. |
