CAPABILITY GRABBING PEER DEVICE FUCTIONALITY IN SIP

<p>A method for enhancing the capability grabbing peer device functionality in Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is disclosed. The method includes associating a session originating from a first terminal (101) to a second terminal (102) with a session originating from the first terminal to third terminal (103) using a Session Initiation Protocol REFER operation (205). The CaIl-ID header of the first session and the 'cgpd' feature tag may be used in the REFER message to associate the first session with the third session. Session Description Protocol (SDP) is used for conveying media to be transferred synchronously to the third terminal.</p>
