<p>A safety check portal for checking a narcotic/explosive and a nuclear/radioactive substance comprises a narcotic/explosive checking subsystem and a nuclear/radioactive substance checking subsystem as well as a control and analysis subsystem, the three subsystems are mounted in the housing of the check portal (29) jointly.
