The invention relates to a device and a process for reducing the noxious substances in the exhaust gases discharged into the atmosphere, as a consequence of the functioning of a heat engine which a land, sea or air motor-vehicle is equipped with, especially CO and CO2, in order to reduce the green-house effect produced by the same, as well as to an exhaust pipe equipped with such devices. According to the invention, the said device consists of two semi-casings (1 and 2) wherebetween there being placed some pairs (A) of annular elements (3 and 4) made of copper and lead, respectively, provided with some cross cuttings (e and f), inside each element there being practiced some through holes (I). According to the invention, the process consists in treating the exhaust gas flow in at least two areas, by means of some thermal gradients of 600...1300 A C/m, obtained by taking over the heat energy from the gas flow by at least three pairs (A) of elements (3 and 4) placed in each of these areas, which creates a quantum field of temperature gradient. According to the invention, in at least two treating areas, inclusive in the part wherein a catalyst (9) is placed, the exhaust pipe is provided with some pairs (A) of elements (3 and 4) placed coaxially with the axis of the pipe (5), the first pair (A) of each treating area having the element (3) placed in direct contact with the pipe (5), and the last pair (A) of each treating area having the element (4) placed in the exterior, in contact with the semi-casing (1 and 2).
|
