PURPOSE: A transfer apparatus and an automated storage are provided to move a moving cart along a direction of a rail according as a second rotating body is contacted with both sides of the rail to roll. CONSTITUTION: A transfer apparatus comprises a slide device(2), a moving cart(T2), a rotating body, and a second rotating body. The slide device extended in a moving cart direction is installed on a transfer apparatus main body. A transferred object is settled in the moving cart. A rotating body rolls on a rail(32). The second rotating body rolls in both sides of the rail.
