PURPOSE: An automatic control system according to oscillation causes of a RF repeater and a controlling method thereof are provided to generate an alarm signal according to analyzed causes of oscillation by analyzing the causes of oscillation of an RF repeater system. CONSTITUTION: An oscillation detecting unit(200) detects a state of oscillation of a RF repeater. An oscillation cause analyzing unit analyzes causes of oscillation when the oscillation is generated from the RF repeater. Antenna control units(190,191) control antennas to optimize the isolation when the causes of oscillation analyzed by the oscillation cause analyzing unit correspond to abnormal states of isolation. An alarm generating unit(900) generates an alarm signal according to the causes of oscillation analyzed by the oscillation cause analyzing unit.
