GENES WHICH ARE RELATED TO 4-COUMARIC ACID, CAFFEIC ACID AND FERULIC ACID BIOSYNTHESIS AND A METHOD OF PRODUCTION USING THEROF

PURPOSE: A gene relating to biosynthesis of 4-coumaric acid, caffeic acid, and ferulic acid is provided to use as an antioxidant and inhibitor of melanogenesis. CONSTITUTION: A gene construct for producing 4-coumaric acid and caffeic acid contains a gene encoding a tyrosine ammonia lyase(TAL) of sequence number 9 and gene encoding a 4-coumarate 3-hydroxylase(C3H) of sequence number 10. An expression vector for producing 4-coumaric acid and caffeic acid contains gene construct for producing 4-coumaric acid and caffeic acid. A transformant for producing 4-coumaric acid and caffeic acid is produced by transforming a host cell with the expression vector.
