A method for determining a container device area location in real time in a container terminal is provided to enable real-time location selection by considering an operation state of unmanned equipment, even without a previous device planning process for device location selection. Containers are classified as groups according to attribute information, and the classified groups are stored in a container group pattern DB of a data storage device. A manager's selection group inputted by an information input device such as a keyboard or a mouse is received. A central processing unit receives settings such as a scoring set, a substack scoring group, a slot scoring group, scoring parameters, and scoring constraints from a manager, and determines device locations of the containers.
