<p>The unit (1) has a lever (8) designed as a two-piece and comprising front and rear parts (8b, 8a). The front part is supported at a free end of the rear part, where the parts form an obtuse angle (alpha). The rear part is moved against a spring-elastic unit (18) e.g. rubber buffer (19), during splitting of a log (3) and moved in a direction of a longitudinal middle axis (22) of a log splitting device (2) through the unit (18) during reaching of a determined splitting depth in the log. The front part is moved outwardly with spreading units (6), and the angle between the parts is increased.</p> |
